Flashback – to one year ago, May 12, 2010.  Does the advice still hold true?   Several weeks ago, I attended a session of an ad-hoc group of people looking to improve their careers.  Some people wanted to change jobs and advance their career while others were out of work and were looking for a job. This group meets every two weeks to share leads and connections, explore opportunities and information, and learn new and different techniques to network and find that elusive next job.
